ÖBB P+R locations with automatic control of the public transport ticket at the exit
APCOA uses automatic licence plate recognition to check that the vehicle is being used in accordance with the regulations on site - without any barriers. A traffic light at the exit indicates whether everything is in order: green means free exit. If it is red, a display informs you of the next step - e.g. ticket not readable or parking fee open. In this case, a response can be made within 48 hours online at https://pay.arivo.app or by e-mail to info@apcoa.at.
Without timely payment or registration, a chargeable holder enquiry will be made (EUR 35 plus penalty & collection costs if applicable) in accordance with the signposted terms of use. Details on the individual locations can be found in the links, a general explanation follows under the location listing:
Our ÖBB P+R locations
APCOA monitors the use of the following ÖBB P+R sites in accordance with the regulations.
This is how it works:
- Automatic licence plate recognition: automatic licence plate recognition is used to check that the ÖBB P+R locations listed below are being used in accordance with the regulations.
- Scan ticket: Parking is free of charge with a valid public transport ticket. When leaving the car park, the QR code on the ticket must be scanned.
- Time card: Once a season ticket (e.g. annual or monthly ticket) has been presented, it remains linked to the licence plate number for the duration of its validity. It is not necessary to present the time card again.
- Traffic light: there is a traffic light at the exit.
If it lights up green, this means: no outstanding costs.
If it lights up red, please follow the instructions on the display. - QR code not legible: If your ticket has no or no legible QR code or the traffic light remains red for other reasons, please send us an e-mail within 48 hours of leaving the car park to info@apcoa.at, stating your location, vehicle registration number and a photo of the ticket (front and back).
- Open car park charge: Look out for an open car park charge on the display (payment by credit or debit card). The parking tariffs vary depending on the Park+Ride facility.
- Pay later: You can also pay open parking charges up to 48 hours after leaving the car park via https://pay.arivo.app/online
- If youleave the car park without subsequent registration or with an open parking fee, you will be charged a fee of EUR 35.00 plus a penalty and, if applicable, collection costs in accordance with the terms of use posted online or on site.
- Westbahn customers: please request an exit ticket for the P+R facility when purchasing your train ticket.
