We currently offer APCOA FLOW at around 80 locations throughout Austria. APCOA FLOW locations are labelled with the APCOA FLOW logo or corresponding posters at the entrance or at the pay machine. In the APCOA FLOW app and on the APCOA website, you can recognise APCOA FLOW locations by the green flag - all other APCOA locations are marked in blue.

It is important to specify the country in which your licence plate is registered and to enter spaces between the letters and numbers, as this is the only way to ensure that your licence plate is unique. The spaces are crucial here, because otherwise there could be identical entries between the standard and the desired licence plate. For example, in this case: WU SCHI 1 and W USCHI 1, so please always make sure that you enter your licence plate number exactly as it appears on your original licence plate.

If you want to register a non-Austrian licence plate, you must also make sure to enter spaces between the letters and numbers. Here is an exemplary overview of how to enter licence plates from Austria's neighbouring countries:

In the APCOA FLOW app, you have the option of creating a company profile in addition to your personal profile. A different credit card can be stored as a payment method in the company profile. A second email address, company name, VAT number, cost centre and business address can also be stored in the company profile. This information is then also transferred to the invoices for the parking processes that are booked via the company profile.

The profile defined as the default is automatically used for all parking processes. If you want to change your default profile, first select the menu item "My payment methods". Now click on the profile you want to use as the default profile and activate the "Set as default profile" button.

You can change your profile before or during the parking process. At locations with parking ticket machines, please select the appropriate profile before starting the parking process. To pay for parking at locations with barrier control, you can also change the profile or payment method during the process. It is no longer possible to make changes once payment has been made.

At locations with parking ticket machines, payment is made at the start of your parking session. At locations with barrier control, payment is made automatically after leaving the car park. You will receive the invoice for your parking sessions by e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided at the end of your parking session.

You can start a parking process by first selecting the location where you want to park. You can do this either by using the search field at the top or by clicking directly on the relevant flag on the map. Then click on the green "Short-stay parking" button. You can then set your desired parking time by turning the tariff wheel. Make sure that you have selected the correct licence plate number, payment method and discount code for the parking process. Finally, click on "Start" and then on "Confirm and pay". You will then be charged via the credit card (Mastercard, VISA) stored in the app.

You can only extend a parking process if you already have an active parking process. When you open the app, you will find the "EXTEND" button at the bottom. If you click on the button, the menu with the tariff wheel opens again, with which you can extend the parking process by the desired time. The additional parking fee will also be charged to the credit card you have on file (Mastercard, VISA).

When booking in advance - especially for weekly packages - the availability of a parking space cannot be guaranteed at any time of day. It is best to book only when you have parked your vehicle.

Please check the following points before contacting us:

• Was the booking for the correct licence plate?
• Did you select the correct location when booking?
• Do you have a transposed number in the licence plate?
• Did you select the correct date (in the case of packages)?

If you are sure that all your details were correct, please contact our service provider Park & Control directly using this contact form. Please have your processing number and any screenshots ready.

Your licence plate number will be read by cameras at the entrance and exit. Please therefore make sure that

• you have entered your licence plate number correctly according to the instructions in the app
• your licence plate number is clean and legible
• the licence plate currently being used is also set to "active" in the app
• you do not have any open or unpaid parking transactions.

If the barrier does not open when you drive in, this may be due to the following reasons:

• your licence plate could not be read correctly (possibly due to dirt or snow in winter)
• Your last parking process was not fully completed
• your vehicle's licence plate number is not set to "active" in the app

Please first check the status of your last parking process in the app and settle any outstanding amounts. Also make sure that your licence plate has the status "active".

If you have checked all the above points and the barrier still does not open, use the QR code on the entry pillar (usually located under or near the ticket slot) to enter the car park. Simply scan the QR code with the APCOA FLOW app to open the barrier. This will start the parking process as usual. If this does not work either, please press the intercom button and our customer centre will help you.

If the barrier does not open at the exit, this may be due to the following reasons:

• your licence plate could not be read correctly (possibly due to dirt or snow in winter)
• Your parking process was not started correctly

Please first try the QR code on the exit pillar (usually located under or near the ticket slot). Simply scan the QR code with the APCOA FLOW app to open the barrier. This will end the parking process in the app as usual.

If this does not work either, please press the intercom button and our customer centre will help you.

At locations with licence plate recognition, you can easily open the access doors via the app: When you open the app and have an active parking process, the "Open access door" button appears directly on the start screen. Simply tap it and the access door will unlock.

The same principle also works at locations where you use the lift to get back into the car park/underground car park. When the car park is active, simply press the "Open access door" button on the start screen. This unlocks the lift buttons and you can select your floor.

If you are an ÖAMTC or ARBÖ member, you will receive a discount code from your respective automobile club, with which you can park at a reduced price at selected locations.

Discounts can currently only be applied to short-term parking and not to flat rates.

To add a discount code at locations with parking ticket machines , select the desired car park in the app and tap on "SHORT-TERM PARKING" so that the booking screen appears. There you will see a field labelled "Enter discount". You can enter the discount code there - this will then be applied to the booking. The original amount and the reduced amount will be displayed in advance in the booking screen.

To redeem a discount for an active parking transaction with licence plate recognition , go to "My parking transactions" in the APCOA FLOW app. Here you can now add a discount code for your active parking transaction (see image).
