Privacy policy for P&R facilities in connection with a public transport ticket
This notice describes how APCOA Austria GmbH, Landstraßer Hauptstraße 146/13A, 1030 Vienna processes your personal data (pursuant to Art. 13 para. 1 GDPR)
1 PURPOSES OF THE DATA PROCESSING
We will process your personal data for the following purposes
a.) to check the authorised use of the P&R facilities, which is only permitted in combination with a valid public transport ticket
b.) to process reserved parking spaces - booking & payment
c.) to check the terms of use (e.g. parking over two parking spaces)
d.) Control of legally compliant use (e.g. exceeding the permitted parking time)
e.) Protection of the facilities (e.g. vandalism)
f.) Prosecution of misuse (e.g. exit without payment)
g.) Correspondence in any form
We collect this data by means of
- the public transport ticket data provided by you
- Image recording, evaluation of the licence plate data
The provision of your personal data is voluntary. You will be informed of the image recording and the recording of licence plate data in accordance with the legal requirements upon entry.
2 LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING
- Legitimate interest (Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR), which consists in achieving the purposes mentioned above under point 1 a.) to g.).
- You have the right to object to this data processing in accordance with Art. 21 (1) GDPR if there are grounds relating to your particular situation.
3 TRANSMISSION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
For the above-mentioned purposes, your personal data will be transmitted to the following recipients - if necessary
- Processors (e.g. call centre, complaint management)
- Billing platforms
- Insurance companies (e.g. in the event of damage)
- Debt collection agency, lawyer, courts
- Authorities within the scope of their remit
4 STORAGE PERIOD
Your personal data will only be stored by us for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes mentioned under point 1. In the event of a dispute, the data will be stored until the end of the proceedings for the purpose of determining compliance with the terms of use.
In any case, we store your data for as long as statutory retention obligations exist or limitation periods for potential legal claims have not yet expired.
5 YOUR RIGHTS IN CONNECTION WITH PERSONAL DATA
In principle, you have the rights to information, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Please contact us for this.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
